Blackpool have only 15 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League Two.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Blackpool find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are five games remaining in the campaign as we continue to push for the Play Off spots and promotion back to League One via the Wembley route.
Sitting in eighth place in the table now following the defeat to Luton Town and Grimsby Town, it’s very much a case of not even looking at those automatic spaces anymore, the focus simply has to be on replacing Carlisle United, Exeter City or Luton themselves in the Play Off spots and then we can look at Stevenage and maybe Luton down the line.
But for now it’s very much a case of needing to return to winning ways.
Looking behind us Cambridge United and Colchester United are level on points so they will have hopes of their own when it comes to a two point gap to Exeter and Carlisle, so we have to rectify that double defeat quickly to avoid a disappointing end to the year.
