Blackpool have only 18 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League Two.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Blackpool find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are six games remaining in the campaign as we continue to push for the Play Off spots and promotion back to League One via the Wembley route.
Sitting in eighth place in the table now following the defeat to Luton Town, it’s very much a case of not even looking at those automatic spaces anymore, the focus simply has to be on replacing Carlisle United, Exeter City or Luton themselves in the Play Off spots and then we can look at Stevenage and maybe Portsmouth.
But for now it’s very much a case of needing to return to winning ways.
Looking behind us Mansfield Town and Wycombe Wanderers are all within two points of us and Cambridge United and Colchester United are within three, so we have to rectify that defeat quickly to avoid a disappointing end to the year.
