Blackpool have only 21 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League Two.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Blackpool find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are seven games remaining in the campaign as we continue to push for the Play Off spots and promotion back to League One via the Wembley route.
Sitting in fifth place in the table eight points off Portsmouth in the automatic slots, Wembley does look the best chance for promotion this year but we are only a point ahead of Carlisle United who sit in eighth place outside of the Play Off spots so there’s plenty of work still to do as the campaign comes to a close.
It’s not just Carlisle we have to watch either, Mansfield Town, Colchester United and Wycombe Wanderers are all within five points and Cambridge United could come into that bracket as well with their game in hand.
