Blackpool have struggled for goals massively this season despite Mark Cullen’s good early season form and the club must invest in a striker this January.

Cullen and Jack Redshaw both came from League Two and cost nearly £200k each, however both are yet to show the finishing quality in front of goal that Blackpool need to climb the table.

Since then, Andy Little, Martin Paterson and Elliot Lee have all arrived and whilst showing promise, none of them are a sure guarantee for goals.

Neil McDonald has spoken of his desire to strengthen the first team in January and a striker is a must this upcoming transfer window.

A proven League One striker on a permanent deal should be the target. However, whether Oyston invests or not is another matter.
