Where do you think you will end up this year?

I think we will be aiming for consolidation this season, defensively, especially away from home we’ve quickly learned how tough this division will be this season. But we’ve shown enough to be confident that we also have enough to fight off any threat of dropping back down to League One. I think I nice stable mid-table finish should be attainable.

Where do you think Blackpool will end up this year?

During the summer after a number of your players had left I had thought you could be in trouble this season and had tipped you to go down. But Paul Ince made some decent signings in the few weeks leading up to the Championship season kicking off and despite your very small squad you’ve started the season well. I’m not convinced that you can maintain it throughout the season and could do what Tranmere did in League One last season. I think you will make the play-offs or slip into mid-table.

Do you have any injuries?

Matt Ritchie is yet to make an appearance this season after picking up an injury during pre-season. We’ve also had knocks for left back Charlie Daniels and winger Mohamed Coulibaly, but after the break they both could be fully fit and in contention for Saturday.

Who is your danger man this season?

I’m going to go for our new record signing who could well make his debut against yourselves on Saturday. Tokelo Rantie will join up with the squad this week after being away with the South African international squad. We signed him for a fee that reportedly could rise to around £2.6million from Swedish club Malmo.

If you could have any pool player who would it be and why?

The obvious choice would be Tom Ince. He has been on AFC Bournemouth supporters radars since his loan spell with Notts County. During one of the games against us he quite frankly embarrassed us in an FA Cup fixture, doing enough step overs to make Cristiano Ronaldo dizzy and consequently made Stephen Purches fall flat on his arse before his cross was put into the net by Warren Cummings, another one of our defenders that day.

Finally what is your prediction?

I think we will get something from the game and wouldn’t bet against inflicting your first defeat of the season.
