Recent additions have seen the Blackpool squad rapidly increase in numbers, but whether the quality Ince and Oyston have brought in is good enough to keep up Pool`s recent form is something that has come into question.

It is no secret that Blackpool have been close to being, or have in fact been the best team in the league so far this season. The team`s desire to win games late on has been impressive, but what has come most as a shock is that no one expected the Tangerines to start as well as they have done.

This summer`s squad additions have perhaps been as we expected, not much money was spent on the players brought in but yet again Oyston managed to strike some bargains. Steven Davies, Neal Bishop and Gary Mackenzie have all been decent so far this season and they all joined for a small price.

Many of us fans will most likely be pleased with the current squad, in some ways it has improved from last year. The encouraging start will also give fans big hopes for the rest of the season, let`s just hope the Tangerines can finish in a high place come the end of this campaign.
