Manager Gary Bowyer gives his thoughts following Blackpool’s victory over Leyton Orient earlier today.
Heading to Brisbane Road for today’s League Two clash, Blackpool took a two goal lead in the game with strikes from Jamille Matt and Tom Aldred, but the hosts did hit back with a consolation in the 89th minute to try and set up a tense and nervy end to things.
Speaking to BBC Lancs Sport in his post game media interviews, a delighted Bowyer praised the players for following the game plan and for putting it into such good effect on the day – as they haven’t always managed to do that.
‘It’s the first time we’ve done that this season. We spoke all week long about trying to achieve that, and I’m delighted that we’ve managed to do that today.’
Back to back victories are key to pushing up the table.
