Manager Neil McDonald has said that Blackpool simply have to keep believing in themselves despite yesterday’s defeat.
Travelling to the County Ground to face Swindon Town and having said ahead of the game that Blackpool would have to be on their mettle to take a result, the club slipped to a three two defeat on the day with a winning goal coming from the hosts two minutes from full time.
Whilst Blackpool may consider themselves unlucky to have not taken something from the match, the hosts on the day clearly had the better of the game with possession and chances but in what was a more rearguard action, obviously there was frustration with how late the eventual winner came after the side had battled hard to get on level terms at two all.
Speaking to the media after the game, the gaffer explained.
