Manager Neil McDonald has admitted what many fans have believed for most of the season – Blackpool are in the mire.
Travelling to Boundary Park for the game against Oldham Athletic last night, Blackpool came out with a one nil defeat and registered their 20th loss of the season.
Coming against fellow relegation rivals, it leaves Blackpool in an even more ‘precarious’ position as the manager admitted, as the club are two points from safety but have played two more games than Oldham above them, and one more game than Doncaster in 20th position.
With relegation from the Championship last season, successive relegations for the Seasider’s is now a real possibility with games running out.
