Once again Blackpool conceded early on Saturday, this time it didn’t signal a barrage of goals though but what it did do was again condemn us to our latest defeat of the season when Fulham went home with the points.

This one-nil defeat at Bloomfield Road not only means that we’re still in danger of going down with the lowest ever points score this the second tier went to 24 clubs it should also make sure that Fulham aren’t in danger of joining us in League 1 next season.

We started well with Cameron twice threatening, firstly in the open minutes he was denied by the post and then shortly after saw another effort save by Fulham ‘keeper Bettinelli but it was Fulham that broke through when Smith (8) headed home from a Kavanagh cross.

Another Smith chance, again from another Kavanagh cross, should have doubled the Fulham lead minutes later but he wasn’t able to hit the target from close range with Cubero putting a diving header wide before half time.

O’Hara had a chance to draw us level before Woodrow headed another Fulham chance over with Delfouneso feeling that he was going to equalise for us having beaten Bettinelli to the ball but his effort was cleared off the line by Richards with Bettinelli denying Madine too as we slipped to our latest defeat.
