What a game at Vicarage Road today, as The Seasiders fell behind three times but kept rallying and won the game late on in a cracker.

Will Hoskins gave The Hornets a fourth minute lead as he dispatched beyond Paul Rachubka after a neat flick by Gregorz Rasiak.

The Seasiders responded just 13 minutes later though, as a freekick rebounded back off the wall to Keith Southern and the tireless midfielder thumped it with his left foot into the corner.

However, ‘Pool couldn’t hold out for half time when a John Harley freekick was headed home by Rasiak – another set piece where Simon Grayson’s team conceed.

After the break, the game carried on in the topsy-turvey style of the first. Ben Burgess levelled for Blackpool, before the birdman made himself a villan at the other end, fouling at Watford man to give the home side a penalty. Tommy Smith converted to make it 3-2.

And it stayed 3-2 until the 85th minute. A right wing cross caused all sorts of problems in the Watford box and it fell to Gary Taylor-Fletcher who poked home the equaliser, in front of the loyal 700 or so support from the North West.

And just when you thought it would finish in a draw, Alan Gow pops up. GTF slipped Gow in through the defence and the Scotsman rattled home a right footed strike in the very last minute of the match to win it. 4-3.

We will have a full match report published tomorrow.
