Blackpool have today confirmed a pre season friendly against Tranmere Rovers in the build up to the League Two campaign of 2016/17.
The match will take place at Prenton Park and it’s been sandwiched between the matches against Blackburn Rovers and Bury – thus it’s been set for Tuesday July 26 and will carry a 7.45pm kick off slot.
Tranmere, who finished sixth in the National League in 2015/16 are managed by former midfielder Gary Brabin, and although the game has been confirmed, an agreement on ticket prices for the match is still to be reached.
Blackpool’s confirmed pre season friendlies for the new campaign are as follows so far.
Blackpool vs Blackburn Rovers – Saturday 23 July, 3pm.
Tranmere Rovers vs Blackpool – Tuesday 26 July, 7.45pm
Blackpool vs Bury – Saturday 30 July, 3pm
With the League Two kick off not long after the Bury game, it’s likely further friendlies will be ahead of the Blackburn clash.
