Paul Ince is desperately looking to bring in reinforcements as Blackpool are currently down to an unlucky 13 players!

Pre-season training begins at the end of next week and Ince, as he told The Gazette, is looking to bring in new players. However he’ll not be doing any panic buying. He said: ‘At the moment we only have 13 players. Half of me is wanting to get players in straight away, but we have to try to be sensible.

‘We can’t panic and get players in just to fill the squad.

‘It’s not going to be easy bringing in 10 new players – it’s almost like starting again.’

One of those that Blackpool could look to bring in is Blackburn’s David Goodwillie?

The Scottish international hasn’t been able to make the impact that he would have wanted at Ewood Park really and was limited to just 11 outings last season, and it’s being reported that he can leave if the right offer comes in and Blackpool are keen to snap up the striker from their Championship rivals.

Goodwillie would make a decent signing for Blackpool if this could come off.
