If news reports are to be believed this morning, former ‘Pool loanee Liam Dickinson is on his way to Leeds United – is Grayson taking the proverbial?

The Daily Mail reported that new Derby County boss Nigel Clough is looking to offload Dickinson for £500,000 – getting back two thirds of the money The Rams paid out for the 23-year-old in the summer.

A move would come as another kick in the teeth for the Seasiders who are publicly keen on Dickinson, and had looked to extend his stay at Bloomfield Road earlier this month.

After scoring four goals whilst on the Fylde coast, Dickinson looks set to join a lengthy list of loanees, including Kyel Reid, Adam Hammill and Alan Gow who believe that their long term future lies elsewhere.

And as for Grayson, who knows whether his recent signings Lee Trundle and Richard Naylor were targets of his at Blackpool, but signing Liam Dickinson wouldn’t sit well with a proportion of ‘Pool’s support.
