Blackpool Make Big Foreign Signing

Blackpool have signed Francesco Carratta on a free transfer from Royal Antwerp in Belgium.

The midfielder, who is 21, has played 13 times for Antwerp this season, notching one goal, and has signed a contract until the end of the season, much like Brett Ormerod, at Bloomfield Road.

He spoke to the official site today, saying: ‘I’m very delighted to make this move. I couldn’t refuse a chance like this and want to do my best for the team.

‘I’m going to prove myself in training, I’m going to work hard and show the manager that I’m worthy.’


Carratta is 182cm tall and weighs 75kg.
