The Seasiders are without three-quarters of their normal defence today but have still managed to put out a strong team to face Cardiff in under an hour.

The game is one of just three games in the Championship to be played.

New signing Andy Butler partners Alex Baptiste in the centre of defence. Joe Martin comes in for the injured Stephen Crainey – who didn’t travel.

Blackpool (4-5-1):

Eardley – Baptiste – Butler – Martin
GTF – Adam – Southern – Vaughan – Ormerod

Subs: Gilks, Bangura, Eastham, Euell, Nardiello, Demontagnac, Bannan.
