Blackpool: Utter Tripe

I’m going to keep this short and bitter.

No fight.
No passion.
No ideas.

Adam Hammill, who was the only player that looked up for the fight, had opened the scoring early on when he rifled past a very suspect Andy Lonergan from 15 yards after just 10 minutes.

And The Seasiders should have had the game wrapped up by half time, but seemed to shut up shop just before the break and never got going after that.

Three goals in the second period from the visitors killed off ‘Pool – who didn’t turn up when kicking towards the kop end.

You have to question the team talk at half time from Simon Grayson as well as lambast the players for what was a gutless and humiliating performance.

Right, I’ll get the goals over and done with.

1: Barker not tight enough to Wallace. The cross should’ve been claimed by Rachubka and no real pressure on Chris Brown who headed home. 55 mins.

2: Again, not tight enough on their left hand side. Davidson’s ball in and a Neil Mellor header goes in. Rachubka should’ve plucked it out of the sky. 68 mins.

3: By this time we’d given up. Wallace was given FIVE, YES FIVE yards of space in the box and he squared it to Chris Brown who placed the ball into an empty net. Rob Edwards’ positioning – shocking. 77 mins.

And at 3-1 we gave up. Well, in truth we gave up after their first goal.

Steve Kabba needs to go back to Watford – disinterested. Gow needs to be told he ISN’T George Best. Barker needs dropping. Rachubka needs to be told to come and claim crosses. Jorgensen or Southern need dropping to make way for Lee Hendrie.

I’ve never been so ashamed in watching ‘Pool. Will we come back next week to beat Wolves?
