Where do you think you will end up this season?
Before the season began, hopes were sky high. We should have read the omens in pre-season friendlies- without a win in all 4 played- but we didn’t read too much into things. A couple of draws at the beginning of the season didn’t tell us much, but since then it’s become glaringly obvious… We’re in a relegation dog-fight. If we were offered survival now; 4th bottom, I would snatch their hand off.

Where do you think Blackpool will end up this year?
Blackpool along with Burnley have been the surprise packages for me this season to date. I think a lot of kudos has to be given to your manager for that. I hope you don’t mind me saying; Blackpool are punching with the big boys, but I’m sure you won’t mind me saying; they’re holding their own. If you finish in the play-offs, considering the quality of the clubs in the Championship, at the minute, you’ve had a fantastic season. Will you finish there? Yeah, why not.

Do you have any injuries?
Yeah, we’ve got a few. Stuart Holden and Mark Davies- our best players- are both long term injuries. Marc Tierney broke his foot at the weekend and we have no other left-back on our books. Tom Ince will have a field-day down the right on Tuesday. Geez…

Who is your danger man this season?
We haven’t got one. Seriously, not one. Our danger men are our defenders, but no threat to your goal, our own net is in danger. Having said that, your old boy, Baptiste is out top scorer, which says it all, really.

If you could have any pool player who would it be?
Tom Ince in a flash. Absolute no-brainer.

Prediction? Well, I got Saturday’s right against Yeovil. I asked myself: would Bolton keep a clean sheet? No. Would they score more than two goals? No. So 1-1 I said and it was. This one, however, is a different prospect. 2-0 Blackpool wouldn’t surprise me at all. You certainly have nothing to fear from our strikers; they haven’t scored 1 goal between them in 9 games. Plus, we haven’t kept a clean-sheet either, so I might be doing you a disservice saying you’ll only bag 2.
