After picking up the first point of the season at Norwich attentions turn to Bloomfield Road where Sheffield Untied are the visitors on Saturday.

Blackpool Team News:

Steve Kabba should be in the match 16 after injury, he played a couple of minuets against Norwich. Hopefully a second striker will be deployed with Ben Burgess who has played the majority of the start of the season on his tod upfront.

Shaun Barker played 60 minuets in the midweek reserve game against Manchester City and has advised that he`s ready to start against the Blades. Barker’s return to fitness is good timing after Danny Coid limped off in the Norwich match, Coid had been filling in for Barker at right back.

Player to watch: Steve Kabba

Hopefully the loanee will get a good start to his Pool career at Bloomers. A injury in the warm up before a friendly with Shrewsbury caused the former Blade to miss the second half of the pre season campaign and the first two games of the season.

Kabba made 78 appearances for Sheffield and scored 18 goals. He moved on to Watford in 2007 for a fee of £500,000.

Sheffield United Team News:

Manager Kevin Blackwell has a few new injury doubts to add to long term injuries of Danny Webber and Jon Stead. Chris Morgan may miss due to concussion and James Beattie has also picked up an injury.

After heavy investment in the summer (Sun Jihai, Greg Halford, Darius Henderson £2 million, David Cotterill and Matthew Spring) the season has started ok for the Blades, after the opening day defeat to favorites Birmingham a 3-1 win the Cup against Port Vale was following up with a 3-0 win over QPR, Billy Sharp with a hattrick.

Player to watch: Gary Speed

A true professional of the game and at 39 this might be his last season. A loan deal from Bolton become permanent laster season and speed has made 22 appearance for the Blades bagging 3 goals.
