The Blackpool Gazette have revealed that Bloomfield Road is set to host the FA Cup third round match between Carlisle and Yeovil after heavy flooding at Carlisle’s Brunton Park.
Keith Curle’s side are being forced to play their games at a number of nearby stadiums whilst they wait for the flooding to stop, including Preston’s Deepdale.
The Bloomfield Road pitch will play host to two games in two days, as Carlisle’s game on the 10th January is just 24 hours before Pool’s home game against Port Vale.
