Gary Bowyer is adamant Blackpool have not got too down when things haven’t gone well with the boss confident a turnaround in fortunes will come sooner or later.
With this turn something he’s prepares for and when it comes it’ll see Blackpool move up the table closer to a position he would sooner want Pools to be in.
Bowyer told the Blackpool Gazette.
‘There are always periods like this in seasons but credit to the players – they are hanging in there and keep grinding it out. Sooner or later it turns and we are ready for the turn. You have spells like this, but the important thing is to stay in there. You don`t get too down, lie down and die and we haven`t done that all season.’
He did admit creating as many chances as we are but not taking enough of them was ‘a concern’ with him confident we’ve got enough players who can step up and score goals, just as defender Andy Taylor did last weekend to rescue a point in a one-all draw with Cambridge.
Since Bowyer arrived he’s had 12-matches but only won three with five drawn and the other four drawn.
