Back in November, Vital Blackpool member SeasideEssexXile – with a little bit of help from Steve Claridge! – kindly wrote us a scouting report on Bournemouth striker Brett Pitman.

Just two months later and ‘Pool manager Ian Holloway was enquiring about his services in the January transfer window, but ended up opting to sign DJ Campbell and Stephen Dobbie.

However, the Seasiders were once again linked with the 22 year old in the press and media today, so I thought it was ample time to reproduce said report.

Today’s rumours suggested that the ‘Pool are willing to pay anything up to £1 million for the hitman, but after speaking to the Cherries this morning, it is Co-Editor Jack Gaughan’s understanding that the Seasiders have yet to make a move for the striker and that he is not up for sale unless the League One club receive an irrefusable offer.
