Henry Cameron has been called up by New Zealand head coach Anthony Hudson for the upcoming international matches.

The winger is training with New Zealand who will be having matches during this international break (not that Blackpool have a break) against Mexico on Saturday and USA next Tuesday.

Cameron will of course have mixed memories of his previous taste of international football as his first cap for New Zealand last year, with him qualifying due to his mother, when he suffered a serious knee injury that kept him out for nine-months.

Now the 19-year-old is fully fit after his ruptured anterior cruciate ligament injury and available for Blackpool, making two appearances this season, he’s back in the New Zealand mix with All Whites head coach Hudson quoted by the Blackpool Gazette as saying.

‘Henry is a player we are really excited about and we know he has worked incredibly hard to get back to full fitness. We are looking forward to having him back in our group and seeing him build on what he showed on debut for the team.’
