In a season that’s seen us use countless players, with a huge turnover, one that’s come into the side more recently has been Henry Cameron – he’s another that’ll be out of it again now though due to injury!

How long this will be for, and what exactly happened, isn’t know? But with him going down unchallenged with no one around him the suggestion is that Bloomfield’s turf could have claimed another victim….

Initial fears that the 18-year-old had broken his ankle in our defeat against Wigan on Saturday have been downplayed with ligament damage more likely but Lee Clark has told the Blackpool Gazette that he’s hoping for good news.

At the moment though it’s ‘too early to tell’ and we can only take a scan once the swelling has eased, all he saw was ‘him go over.’ With him impressing since coming into the first-team, on that his sixth appearance, Clark knows it’ll be a blow to lose him.

‘It’s a shame as he’s an exciting young player. He’s been one of the shining lights.’

We’ve not had a season too many ‘shining lights’ have we, fingers crossed for positive news on Cameron….
