With a full programme of Championship fixtures tomorrow, we make some predictions ahead of the games.

Colchester v Preston

Colchester haven’t won just once in ten games, whereas Preston have claimed victory five times – two of which were away at Southampton and Burnley. However, Alan Irvine’s men have lost their last three away from home – a draw.

Coventry City v Cardiff City

Having sacked manager Iain Dowie, Coventry under the guidance of caretaker boss Frankie Bunn will be looking to overcome a strong Cardiff side who have failed to win away since December. Coventry won their last home game 4-0, but I feel they will find it tough against Dave Jones’ side – an away win.

Crystal Palace v Ipswich

Ipswich cracking at home, and awful at home; is that all about to change? Town managed to pick up their first away win of the season last week, which could lead to an upturn in fortunes. Palace have hit a rocky patch all of a sudden after such a great run – a draw.

Norwich City v Hull City

Norwich are in great form at the moment with three straight wins, but Hull seem to be picking up results here and there to keep them in the hunt for the playoffs. It could be a tight game, but the form side to win – a home victory.

Plymouth Argyle v Barnsley

Without a home win in 2008, Paul Sturrock and co are finding life difficult at Home Park, and have actually only won one game this year – at Leicester on Saturday. Barnsley aren’t much better, and despite decent home wins in recent weeks are dismal away from Oakwell – a home win.

QPR v Burnley

QPR have won their last three at home, whereas The Clarets only have four points from their last four away. Having recently cured their losing habit at Turf Moor, Coyle’s side now can’t win away – a home win.

Scunthorpe United v Bristol City

City don’t travel well at all, and have not won away since December (at Burnley) and it seems that their home form is keeping them up in the promotion hunt. United won at home to Charlton last week, but again, don`t host games well; both teams will struggle – a draw.

Sheffield Wednesday v Charlton

Wednesday are either good or bad at Hillsborough – there isn’t much middle ground! A win against Sheffield United was cancelled out by a poor display against Ipswich. Away from home, Charlton find it difficult and they’ve not won away from The Valley in their last five – a home win.

Stoke City v Southampton

This is my banker home win for this week, and it will be a real coupon buster is Saints get a win from the game. Having drawn their last five away games, Gorman’s side have forgotten how to win, whereas Tony Pulis has his team rolling teams over at home. I’m ready for Southampton to now go out and beat City, that’d be just my luck, but – a home win.

Watford v Leicester City

City need points? and quick! They can’t buy away three points at the moment under Ian Holloway. Watford are coming back into form at home with four points from games against Charlton and Wolves – a home win.

West Brom v Sheffield United

13 points from a possible 15 at home for WBA plays 2 points from a possible 12 away for United – home banker? Possibly not. Bryan Robson is in last chance saloon at Bramall Lane and is heading for crisis talks with the board. Will this inspire his team on? Probably not! Rumours of a dressing room revolt are rife – an easy home win.
