Everton fullback Seamus Coleman, currently on loan at Bloomfield Road, said he wants to extend his loan deal with the playoff chasers.

The 21-year-old has produced some fantastic performances from right back in his five starts for Ian Holloway’s side.

And telling evertonfc.com, he wants some more games in the Championship run in: ‘We’ll obviously see what Everton have to say but whatever both teams want I’d be happy with.

‘I’d love to stay and help us get promoted but if I have to go back that’s the way it is and I’ve just got to do whatever I’m told.’

Looking ahead to the weekend’s game at Newcastle, the Ireland Under 21 international said: ‘Newcastle are a Premier League club, with a Premier League stadium, it’s going to be a great occasion and we’re not going to go there in awe and we need to win so we want to go and change that.

‘There’s no point going there thinking we’re going to get beaten and rolling over, we’re in great form at the minute so we’ll go there and see what happens.’

I think he should remain at Blackpool for the time being, he needs match time, and seems to have made an impct on your club. I would love to see him at Everton, would start if Neville wasnt captain, he is much better than phil.
