Blackpool lost their first game in seven tonight, as they surrendered a one goal lead (again!) to lose 3-1.

Andy Morrel scored on his return to City in the first half as he poached from a David Fox freekick. However, the lead only lasted until a minute before half time, as Danny Coid brought down Misfud and Doyle nailed a penalty home.

The Seasiders didn’t get going in the second half, and conceeded on 70 minutes when Misfud gave the home side the lead, despite Rachubka making many fine saves.

Grayson went for a goal by going 4-4-2, but the game was wrapped up late on when Simpson hit home the final goal to compound the misery.

Kaspars Gorkss was sent off as well, we’re severely struggling at the back.

There’s no shame in losing at Coventry, but it could ahve easily been prevented:

Stop Press!
”Pool fail to hold onto a lead again.
-Are now threadbare due to injuries.
-Are now regretting not spending money and getting found out. We already knew all this, but will it spark the board to spend some money on loans!?
