Midfielder Jose Miguel Cubero has been named in the Costa Rica squad for their international friendlies this month.

Paulo Wanchope has named Cubero in the final 23 man squad for the upcoming games against Colombia and Spain.

He made the provisional squad as earlier announced and has been training with them at their camp and the 28 year old will be hoping to play his part in the fixtures on June 6 and June 11 respectively.

Costa Rica then take part in the CONCACAF Gold Cup next month which takes place in the United States and Canada between July 7 and 26.

Having joined us last summer, before picking up an injury, in his maiden 2014-15 season with us, Cubero made a total of twelve appearances with the majority coming in the second half of the campaign once he was fit again.

We have taken up his contract option keeping him with us for the 2015-16 League One battle.
