Blackpool suffered another afternoon of frustration at Crawley on Saturday with Gary Bowyer already talking about missed chances proving costly, which Colin Daniel echoed.
He feels it was a match that ‘summed up’ the season so far.
With enough chances to win the match in the first half not taking them left him frustrated once again. Daniel also, talking to the Official Website felt the goal shouldn’t have stood.
‘We had our own chances to win the game but we didn`t quite put them away. It was very frustrating. I think it`s a foul on the goalkeeper, but they`ve scored from a corner and we need to start putting away our chances.’
Daniel, who came on for Andy Taylor to fill in at left back after he broke his nose in the first half, went onto to add we once again showed we’re capable of getting results, as we have in most matches, and should be higher up the League 2 table.
Left back isn’t an unfamiliar position for Daniel, having played the role in the past and as much as it isn’t his ‘natural position’ he’ll concluded he was happy to fill in and will played wherever asked.
‘I don`t mind playing left-back, I`ve played there in the past. It`s not my natural position but I`m more than capable of playing there and if the Gaffer wants me to play there I`m happy to.’
