Nathan Delfouneso has today returned to Blackpool, but this time on a permanent basis.
The 23 year old striker who has been on 2 previous loan spells at Bloomfield Road joins Blackpool on a one year deal with the option of a further year after being released from Aston Villa at the end of last season.
In his first loan spell with Blackpool in 2012-2013 season he played 41 games scoring 6 goals for Blackpool.
In his second spell he played just 11 games scoring no goals.
Delfouneso has also had previous loan spells with Burnley, Leicester City and Coventry City with Aston Villa being his only previous parent club.
In his club career he has scored just 11 goals, so over 50% were scored for Blackpool.
Delfouneso has been training with Blackpool since the start of pre season, and took part in Blackpool’s only pre season friendly to date against Penrith where he scored the opening two goals.
