With the announcement of the EFL Cup first round draw this coming Friday, the all important ball numbers have been decided.
The draw will take place in Bangkok, Thailand at 1pm UK time on Friday June 16 and Thailand is of course the home of the new sponsor’s of the competition for the next three years – Carabao.
Seventy EFL clubs will be taking part in the first round draw, with Hull City and Middlesbrough joining at round two this season and matches will be set to take place in the week beginning August 7.
As usual, Premier League sides not competing in European competition will also enter at the next stage.
The draw will be regionalised to minimise travel time for fans and here are the seeds, non seeds and the ball numbers fans will be looking out for on Friday.
