The draw for the first round proper of the FA Cup took place earlier this evening.

Drawn live on BT Sport and BBC 2 at approximately 7.13pm, clubs now know their fate as they go into the competition with hopes of success and a boost to club coffers and as ever, the first round sees League One and League Two clubs come up against non league rivals who have already begun their FA Cup journey’s for this year.

With the draw ball numbers allocated to clubs over the weekend, here’s how the 40 tie draw played out as Dean Saunders and Kelly Smith MBE picked the all important balls.
