Daniel Nardiello has joined League One Exeter City.

The striker, who managed just one goal in his two years at Bloomfield Road, will be hoping to put his time at the seaside behind him.

‘This is Devon’ is reporting the move, with nothing official on the Grecians website.

Nards struggled with injuries at ‘Pool after his move from QPR. A move which saw Kaspars Gorkss going in the opposite direction – didn’t we do well out of that?

His appearances were limited and there were rumours that he didn’t want to play for the club.

A loan spell at Bury where he notched four goals in six games didn’t do anything to dispel the whispers about his commitment to the cause.

He was released by Ian Holloway last month and City boss Paul Tisdale is please to capture his man: ‘Daniel has got very good pedigree and we are expecting him to settle into the new surroundings very well.’
