A point would do it. Surely? Pool go into Saturdays game against Scunthorpe needing (by my reckoning) 1 more point to stay in League One. With U16’s going free, there is surely going to be a ‘sea of tangerine’ in the away end at Glanford Park.
This is how I think it will look after Saturday:
Blackpool 45 55
Bournemouth 45 53
Rotherham 45 52
Yeovil 45 52
Milton Keynes 45 52
————————–
Tranmere 45 51
Hartlepool 45 48
Swindon 45 46
Walsall 45 44
Hopefully, yes, HOPEFULLY, this will be true.
Scunny have no new injury worries ahead of the game, with manager Brian Laws thinking of giving Cliff Bryne and Richie Ryan a chance to shine. Old timer Peter Beagrie is pushing for a recall also.
Goal tally says it all really. Will pose a massive threat to Clarke and co.
Simon Grayson is waiting to see how John Murphy is before naming his 16, as he is still struggling with a back injury. Coidy and Phil Doughty are still out. Neil Wood will be named in the 16.
Out: Danny Coid (Ankle)
Phil Doughty (Leg)
Doubt: John Murphy (Glass Back)
After scoing last week, getting into team of the week, and scouts watching, he’ll want to impress again. The Scot didn’t look to happy in mid week though, when he had to hand awards out at an academy presentation night!!
