Blackpool star man Thomas Ince has yet again been linked with a move away from the club with newly promoted Cardiff City the most recent club to be linked with a move for the tricky winger.

Ince, who’s 18 goals last season helped the Tangerines to stay up has been subject to interest from a number of clubs including his former club Liverpool and Cardiff’s rivals Swansea City.

But it is now Cardiff who are believed to be favourites to sign Ince, with recent reports even suggesting that a bid from the Welsh club has been accepted by the Tangerines. However the bid would have had to match manager and father Paul Ince’s valuation of the player with his son also needing to be guaranteed first team football if he was to move on.

Ince told the Blackpool Gazette ‘if we can keep him for the next 12 months it will keep us from looking elsewhere’ followed up by ‘we’d like to keep him but if someone makes a ridiculous offer we’ll have to look at it’.

Whether Cardiff’s bid will match the ‘ridiculous offer’ is yet to be seen, however what is guaranteed is that Blackpool will face a tough summer to keep the youngster.
