Jeffers Training With ‘Pool

Now I’ll be honest with you from the start; even I don’t know what to make of this one!

As reported late last night, Franny Jeffers is training with Blackpool.

This is the Franny Jeffers who was tipped for great things once but has failed everywhere in his career.

He has been training with Huddersfield already this summer and apparently has offers from abroad, but is now training with us.

Now, either Ollie has invited him to train with us to make up our numbers, which in which case shows how slowly our player recruitment is going (a bit like last season, although arguably this one’s far more important!), and despite wanting to be patient in the transfer market Ollie needs to dip his toe in quickly and confidently else we risk starting the season in a right mess.

Or… or… Franny Jeffers is on trial with us. Surely not?
