Lloyd Jones’ injury in September was hugely disappointing for the team and the youngster, but Jones has now passed the worst of his injury and hopes to return to action soon.
Jones damaged his knee and his ankle in the game against Chesterfield in September and has had three operations as a result, but the 20 year old is looking to return to action after Christmas.
Talking to the official site, the Liverpool loanee said: ‘I`m over the worst of it now. I’ve been set a target to be playing by February but I`m hoping to be back in mid-January.
‘I thought I was doing quite well at Blackpool so hopefully I can continue that, but we may have to be a little bit patient.’
Jones certainly looked a good player before his injury and his return will be a welcome one. Hopefully this bad injury hasn’t affected his game too much when he does make a return to action.
