Keigan was King of inconsistency

This week we asked you how best you would sum up Keigan Parker’s four years at the seaside. Most clearly feel the Scot was at times brilliant but, on another day, frustratingly non-existent.

62% of you felt that Parker’s Pool career had some good times and some bad. Who could forget that glorious day at Wembley 13 months ago when Keigan curled a stunning second goal into the Yeovil net to send the Tangerines to the Championship.

But it was a sublime hat-trick back in December 2004 against Torquay at Bloomfield Road that helped Parker announce himself to the Pool faithful.

Sadly we didn’t see the best of Keigan in the Championship. No goals in over 20 appearances for Pool last season suggested to many that the Championship was a stage too far for the striker.

Some fans seem to be glad to see the back of Parker. 15% of you cited possible attitude issues with the Scot being the reason to let him go.

Ultimately it was sadly an uneventful exit from Blackpool for Parker. His last appearance for the club came in March against Preston. And two weeks’ ago Parker signed for League One Huddersfield where many expect him to flourish.

This week’s poll asks you who you fancy seeing Blackpool play against in this season’s Carling Cup first round, with the draw taking place on Friday.
