The draw for the first round of the English Football League Cup took place earlier this afternoon.
Drawn live on Sky Sports and social media for the first time, 70 of the 72 Football League clubs are included, with Norwich and Newcastle drawn in the second round stage.
The second round also sees the Premier League teams come in, and round three, those competing in Europe this season.
The draw was seeded and split north/south.
In the draw, Blackpool discovered that Bolton Wanderers would be the opposition and the game is at home.
The first round ties are set for the week commencing August 8, and the final is at Wembley on Sunday February 26, 2017.
