Blackpool have released a statement on the official website saying they are considering legal action against Simon Grayson and Leeds United, after the manager left for the Yorkshire based club today.

It is thought that Larry handed in his resignation early this morning, but this wasn’t accepted by the club, and The Seasiders are now threatening legal action.

This is the second time in a year that ‘Pool have been involved with the courts, after the saga over Wes Hoolahan’s transfer to Bloomfield Road.

And why not, I wish Larry all the best but if he has broke his contract then Pool should take action. As they say long live the king, the King is dead. Lets hope Parkes and Thompson have stayed as they are the real engine.

I hope he falls flat on his face.Any man who wants to go to “that club” is nothing but a ****.

Sorry, but I think Mr Oyston`s shot himself in the foot over this affair.
Mr Oyston`s Blackpool have (according to reports) reported Leeds to the Football League, claiming a breach of the following regulations:

“Regulation 20.1 states that no club shall take any steps to induce or attempt to induce another club’s employee to terminate his contract of employment with that other club.

Regulation 20.2 states that no club will make contact or enter into negotiations relating to the the employment of another club’s employee.”

He has come out with some strange (some might say silly?) comments but never has he said that Leeds illegally approached Mr Grayson. And consider also the fact that he was appointed AFTER his resignation from Blackpool.
Lucky for Mr Oyston that he did not “find a High Court judge” as he stated or he would most likely have been laughed out of court..
