23 year old Leicester City striker Jacob Blyth has today signed a loan deal with Blackpool that will run until the end of the current season.
The player has been with Leicester since 2012 after joining them from Leamington FC for an undisclosed fee, and as well as being a regular in their Under 21 development squad, he has also taken in previous Football League experience with Notts County and Northampton Town, as well as Burton Albion and Cambridge United.
With a career record so far of 33 starts and 18 from the bench, he comes in having scored nine times during his loan spells out so far, and that’s what he’ll be hoping to build on whilst at Bloomfield.
He trained with his new colleagues earlier this morning and he could debut for Blackpool in Friday’s game against Bury.
