Wolves have taken up the option, as was their prerogative, to recall Michael Jacobs from his loan spell with Blackpool.

Jacobs was meant to spent the remainder of the season at Bloomfield Road but upon his arrival Wolves insisted on a recall clause being inserted into the arrangement that could see him recalled after 28-days.

They took up this option on Thursday with Kenny Jackett recalling him with immediate effect so he’ll now swap relegation for a battle for promotion with Wolves, who are seeking a return to the Premier League via the play-offs.

The winger enjoyed a successful, albeit it short, spell with us and spoke about his ‘mixed emotions’ earlier in the week following his first, and of course only, goal for us in the one-one draw with Bolton over the Easter weekend: Click Here

In all the 23-year-old made five appearances for us and will look to take his form into the final games of the Wolves season, where you would expect he’ll have a role to play or why recall him! Best of luck for the future Michael, maybe our paths will cross again in the future?
