Match Day referee Stockbridge has officiated 27 games in 2016/17 with a return of 108 yellow cards and four red cards already.

His highest card count this season was eight yellows in the game between MK Dons and Port Vale.

He took in 30 matches so far in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 102 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Scunthorpe and Bury in April where he showed six yellow cards with one red.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
