The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Grimsby Town on Saturday.

Blackpool travel to Grimsby Town on Saturday December 31 for the game at Blundell Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Linesmen: Paul Thompson and David Benton
Fourth Official: Christopher Ward

Match Day referee England has officiated 21 games in 2016/17, with a return of 60 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was five yellows and one red in the game between Morecambe and Plymouth Argyle.

He took in 30 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 97 yellow cards and six red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Accrington and Mansfield on August 18 with a total of ten yellows being shown. He also showed eight yellows and one red in the Portsmouth v Barnet match on September 12.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
