The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Wycombe Wanderers this Tuesday.

Blackpool host Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday January 10 for the Football League Trophy/Checkatrade Trophy round three tie at Bloomfield Road and the match carries a 7pm kick off.

Referee: Eddie Ilderton
Linesmen: Helen Byrne and James Bell
Fourth Official: Ben Toner

Match Day referee Ilderton has only taken in four games so far this season, with a return of 12 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the game between Notts County and Wycombe Wanderers where he showed four yellows and the two reds.

He took in 32 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 71 yellow cards and four red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Notts County and York City on September 26 with a total of six yellows being shown. He also showed five yellows and one red in the Blackburn v Preston game in April.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
