This week, co editor Jerry talks about himself!

Name: Martin [Jez] *Huh? Two names?!*

Age: 17

Live: North Shore

Status: Single stud-muffin. *hmm…muffin…*

First Game: early 90’s I’d say. Stood in the East Paddock with my late Grandad and couldn’t see over the wall – was only about 4/5 at the time. Left at half time and sat in the car with my nan and turned out that the game ended in a 0-0 draw so didn’t miss much.

First Away Game: Leicester City in the FA Cup a couple of seasons back. Simon Lynch started up front ahead of Super John Murphy…and Rob Edwards scored an own goal – the source of my dislike for that particular ‘player’

Favourite former players: Simmo, Hillsy, P. Clarke, Murphs, Ormerod

Favourite Current Players: Andy Morrell, David Fox & Shaun Barker

Favourite Games: Any that we win!!! [grins] Probably one of the away games with the lads off here (message board). Huddersfield this season was a great laugh, especially in the pub afterwards. I’d probably have to say that Barnsley in the Carling Cup this season was a great game for me. First game witnessing a penalty shootout – nerve-wracking!! Scotty Vernon’s equiliser in extra time just put the icing on the cake, regardless of the result in the end, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A Little Extra: This is my first season as a season-ticketer. Only supported the team since the start of Colin Hendry’s tenure as gaffer – mainly because my Grandad hadn’t been since the Rochdale FA Cup game a few years prior and my dad has never been a fan – blame the quid-a-kid scheme and free tickets from school (see, the system does work!!!). Sit at the back of Block B in the Kop, you’ll see me stood up all game, chanting my heart out for the lads. Oh and if you sit anywhere near me…you’ll know that i’m not that fond of Keigan Parker…[sniggers]
