Men In Black

G Sutton from Lincoln takes charge of Blackpool`s game away at Nottingham Forest tonight, and we all will be looking to a similar standard of officiating as we saw on Saturday as Clive Oliver stormed the MIB leader board with a accomplished display.

Sutton has been the man in black an impressive 27 times this season with his level of football ranging from The Championship down to Conference North.

The Lincolnshire based ref has branded 59 yellow cards this term but unbelievably no reds, which is no mean feat.

He has only refereed The Seasiders once, and that game was last term when ‘Pool travelled to Chesterfield and came away with a point after drawing 1-1. On loan midfielder Gary Harkins (I`m hearing the cries of “whooooooo?” now!) from Blackburn scored a stunning half volley for the mighty`s goal. Unfortunately the game was marred by Ciaron Donnelly receiving a straight red on 13 minutes after a fight with a Cheaterfield player, who also saw red. Hopefully there won`t be as much controversy this time out.

This is what Sutton has to beat (let’s face it, not much so far!):
