Men In Black

Andy Penn took charge of Blackpool`s 1-0 win away at Oldham on Tuesday night, how did he do?

I can’t believe Penn hasn’t been voted the worst man in black after Tuesday’s ‘performance` but some voters (including myself actually!) were slightly lenient and without them (all lenient voters have refereed at various levels before) Penn would certainly be challenging Ray Olivier for the worst man in black!

After booking two Blackpool players, and one Latic, it does seem on paper that he had a quite game. Wrong!

Penn – a short official (one member has a theory about them and not being very good!) – was over fussy and obviously made up for his height deficiency with being able to blow his whistle hard at every opportunity – bless.

Andy Penn’s MIB (obviously without the cool shades though, he doesn`t deserve them!) rating stands at a measly 1.5.
