Mr Moss took charge of Blackpool’s 3-1 home win against champions Scunthorpe United. How did he do?

The general opinion was that he was poor, with myself being the exception: I thought he had a good game. Perhaps I was watching a different game!?

His overall rating for the game was: 2.1

Vital Quotes:
How fussy was he? How many times did he move the ball back 1 yard? How many times did he let Scunny’s fouls go and give against us? They have obviously got where they are with wily fouls and whining to the officials. Their no 7 with the lovely blue boots should have had about 8 yellows! He eventually got booked and the ref pointed to about 6 areas of the pitch as if to say you have made n amounts of fouls. He made about another 6 after that and still got away with another yellow. He must have a real purty mouth!

Sharp was the biggest moaning git I’ve ever seen, he started moaning with the officials within about 1 minute. He was winding up the home fans, giving fingers, he ran away with the ball, kicked it away, elbowed etc. It was unbelievable that he got only a yellow card after about 20 offences and Brandon gets a straight red for a petulent flick?

I hate refs, I thougth it may be a good game of footy with the ref having to do nothing, but with the combination of the Scunny cheats and the useless ref, he nearly spoilt a good game.

2 for me as well – may have been tricky, but Scunny played him big time.

Sharp deserved yellow after goal for stealing the ball and celebration, but he bottled it. Not the best. Good riddance!

Sharp should have been sent off and was picky with some ‘Pool fouls that were no worse than some Scunthorpe ‘tackles’. Still, not the worst we’ve had in all honesty, just one of the poorer ones.

Thought he handled a VERY tricky game pretty well. Sending off was the correct decision.

Absolutely rubbish. How Sharp stayed on the pitch was beyond a joke.

Well in the first half he let it get a little out of hand and could have calmed Sharp down before having the break to cool off. The red card was the right decision, but he could have given the yellow but would have not been technically correct.

Second half the game calmed down and he did OK, once again not the best but not the worst and I’m sure with a less fired up evatt, brandon and co would have got a higher score from me.
