After a change of referee at short notice, D Deadman took charge of Blackpool`s 2-2 draw away at Gillingham.
Deadman was at the centre of everything according to the radio, and his two linesmen turned in an inept showing.
Our voters rated Deadman and came to the conclusion that he wasn`t the best – but not the worst, albeit only just. His MIB rating is 1.5 and is very close to Ray Olivier at the bottom of the pile.
Deadman gave a very dubious penalty to The Gills early in the second half and then failed to give one right at the death to the home side which looked stonewall. In the end both decisions evened themselves out, but that`s poor official work.

Absolutely clueless. The dross justs grows and grows!
Just above Olivier in a league table. That’s when it’s time to go, as Olivier is the worst in the country…
His linesman the bauld one on the Medway Stand side in the second half was attrocious that i can say. The ref clearly was i think fearing for something that might happen to him by the fact he has given out so many cards this season-he was total dross, and yes he is down there with Olivier, i notice you dont seem to have had Mr Singh yet he certainly is a top ref at this level.
Just goes to show how good Sutton and Oliver (not to be confused with Olivier!) were, as these ratings are obviously slightly biased!
Deadman *shudder* he’s right down there with Jarnail Singh, Graham Laws, Keith Hill and Barry Knightmare. *shudder*
